It's not a diet. It's a lifestyle change.
A sweet treat I made for a family dinner.
2 oz dark chocolate (I used 70% )
2 tsp palm shortening
1 1/2 cups unsalted macadamia nuts
1/2 cup unsweetened dried cherries
Sea salt to sprinkle on top
1. Melt together chocolate and shortening on a double boiler
2. Add nuts and cherries to the melted chocolate and mix well to coat.
3. Scoop mixture by the spoonful and place onto a parchment lined baking sheet.
4. Sprinkle sea salt and refrigerate for about 1 hour, or until clusters harden.
