I’ve been wanting to make granola for the longest time, just couldn’t figure out what mix I wantedm. After looking up a ton of recipes online, I threw this to-die-for mix together!
2 cups quick cook oats
3/4 cup shredded unsweetened coconut
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1/2 cup dried cherries
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
1/2 cup agave nectar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Line a large baking pan with parchment paper. Preheat oven to 300.
In a bowl, combine oats, coconut, almonds, cherries, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well.
In a separate bowl whisk together coconut oil, agave and vanilla extract.
Pour liquid mixture over dry and mix well until everything is coated.
Pour granola onto the baking sheet. Spread it out evenly. Bake for 30 mins, or until it is golden brown. Stir granola every 10 mins .. Oh and enjoy the smell 😉
