Jerk Chicken Marinade

Being west Indian, I absolutely love any sort of Caribbean food. Jerk chicken is amazing! This marinade is so easy to make, and most of the ingredients you usually have on hand. Make the marinade and store it for a later date, or if you’re eager like me, use it right away!

1/3 cup chopped green onion
1/4 cup line juice
2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp EVOO
2 tbsp organic honey or agave
1 tbsp grated ginger root
2 tsp minced garlic
2 jalapeño peppers seeded and minced
2 tsp all spice
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tap nutmeg
Method: mix all of the above together very well. I used my mini blender to get everything evenly mixed 🙂 marinade chicken overnight and bake the next day! Or freeze and thaw and bake at a later date!
Thank you @nutty4nutrition!

What oven temperature and how long should you bake it? Thanks!

Depends on how much chicken you’re having.
