Turkey meatballs are a great alternative to beef and with the right seasoning, you won’t be able to taste the difference.
I didn’t measure my spices for these when I made them but I used about 1 tsp of all the spices and I used about 1-1 1/2 lbs of meat.
What you’ll need:
Extra lean ground turkey
1/4 cup chopped red pepper
1/4 cup chopped red onion 1/4 cup
Pinch of salt
Pinch of black pepper
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup dried cranberries
Feel free to use whatever other spices you like!
Mix all ingredients well. Form meatballs and bake for 20-25 mins on 350.
Serve with Spaghetti Squash and low sodium tomato sauce, or with steamed veggies!
